FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to moulded polymer translucent articles to be used in street and in-house illumination lamps as well as those used in transport, construction and artistic articles. Proposed article represents a glass for light source moulded in the form of faceted semicircle (ref. to dwg.1).Glass design allows locating light source at the point wherefrom maximum light flux comes off and which corresponds to the base of radius of aforesaid semicircle. Note here that light is transmitted through said glass at points of faceted semicircle edges perpendicular to tangent to circle at the angle of 90 degrees.
EFFECT: higher translucence.
