SUBSTANCE: invention relates to cigarette boxes. Invention aims at making cigarette box with new opening/closing method. Proposed cigarette box features the shape of rectangular parallelepiped with rectangular opening at box top end. Said box comprises also cover articulated with one lateral edge of aforesaid opening. Note here that said cover opens and closed said opening in turning about said hinge. Cigarette box includes also telescoping element extending downward from said cover. Note here that, with cover closed, said telescoping element is located in said box while, with cover open, said element telescopes through aforesaid opening to make telescoping wall extending from said cover to said box opening. Besides, said telescoping wall features shape of circular sector with center of its circle aligned with aforesaid hinge and its radius equal to width of the opening.

EFFECT: cigarette box with new opening/closing method.
