SUBSTANCE: invention relates to activated carbon materials and can be used as a sorbent for gases which are difficult to adsorb and as a catalyst support. Moulded nanostructured microporous carbon material is obtained. The obtained material has specific surface area of 1560-2550 m2/g, total pore volume of 1.0-1.5 cm3/g and micropore volume of 0.6-1.3 cm3/g.

EFFECT: disclosed material has large specific surface area and high sorption capacity with respect to different adsorbates.
