FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to an adhesive composition for attaching rubber to fibre glass-filled polytetrafluoroethylene during curing for use in production of industrial rubber articles for the motorcar industry. The surface of fibre glass-filled polytetrafluoroethylene is treated with a solution of sodium-naphthalene complex in tetrahydrofuran, followed by deposition of a solution of 3-glycidoxypropyltrimethoxysilane and drying at temperature 70-90°C.
EFFECT: high adhesion strength of acrylate and fluoride rubber to the surface of fibre glass-filled polytetrafluoroethylene.
