FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: lamp has a transparent envelope, a standard base, a supply voltage converter and light-emitting diodes on printed-circuit boards along the axis of the envelope. Heat removal is provided through printed ceramic boards with a metal base joined to a metal holder mounted by its end on a metal radiator. There are light-diffusing elements in front of the light-emitting diodes on the surface of the envelope.
EFFECT: improved heat removal, lower operating temperature of light-emitting diodes inside the lamp, ensuring uniformity of light flux emitted by the lamp in the radial and axial directions, high power of light-emitting diodes used and longevity of the lamp.
