FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: white light-emitting diode lamp has a bulb with optically transparent walls, inside of which there are light-emitting diodes with optical axes mainly directed in the space of the hemisphere perpendicular the walls of the bulb, with glowing bodies away from the walls. The disclosed apparatus also has a supply mains converter connected to the light-emitting diodes and current conducting apparatus. The walls of the said bulb are coated with one or a mixture of several luminophores which convert a large portion of radiation from the light-emitting diodes into white light. The light-emitting diodes are also selected from a group of light-emitting diodes which generate radiation in the ultraviolet, violet, sky blue or blue regions of the optical spectrum.
EFFECT: design of a light-emitting diode lamp with a compact glowing body emitting white light, which generates uniform light distribution more than in a hemisphere with high uniformity of chromacity of radiation, with high efficiency, high light output and longevity.
