SUBSTANCE: proposed mechanism comprises movable reflector interacting with shaped grooves and reciprocating in muzzle box from initial position whereat short cartridge case is extracted to rear position whereat long cartridge case is extracted. Magazine cutoff interacts with grooves for fitting reflector on muzzle coupling to allow lengthwise motion of reflector. Reflector spring allows reciprocation of reflector between initial and rear position in assembled state. Reflector is moved back in dismantling reflection mechanism.

EFFECT: reliable extraction of cartridge cases of different length.
