FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, in particular to surgery, and can be used for diagnostics of peritoneal commissures of abdominal cavity without symptoms of acute intestinal obstruction. Two hours before examination solution of Fortrane preparation is introduced to patient per oral in amount half of the dose declared by manufacturer. After that ultrasonic examination of abdominal cavity by standard method is performed. Swollen intestine loops with active peristalsis, filled with medicinal solution, are detected, their mobility is estimated and in case of its absence peritoneal commissures are diagnosed. Method makes it possible to reduce time and simplify methods of examination, as it makes it possible to refuse from hard for patient's endurance manipulations (filling stomach and duodenum with large volume of liquid for creation of acoustic window, necessity to change patient's body position).

EFFECT: method increases efficiency of ultrasonic diagnostics of peritoneal commissures due to possibility to examine all parts of abdominal cavity, reduces impact of factors limiting mobility of small intestine in phases "inhalation-exhalation" and makes it possible to prepare patient's intestine to surgery.
