METHOD OF ESTIMATING MOTOR FUNCTION OF INTESTINE IN HERNIA SAC IN CASE OF NONINCARCERATED POSTOPERATIVE VENTRAL HERNIA Russian patent published in 2011 - IPC A61B6/00 A61K49/00 A61K51/00

Abstract RU 2434581 C1

FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, abdominal surgery and can be used for selection of patients, especially of elderly and old age for planned or emergency-delayed operation in case of nonreducible postoperative ventral hernia. Diluted in 20-50 ml of water radiopharmaceutical preparation (RPP), in particular water solution of 99mTc-technephite or 99mTc-bromeside, in dose 50-100 MBq, is introduced to patient per os or through nasal probe, radionuclide examination is carried out in horizontal position, in anterior projection, with marker installed centrally in mesogastric region - region of navel. Static images of intestine are taken every 2 hours during 24 hours with 200 sec per image. In case if transit RPP delay in hernia projection is from 2 to 4 hours, motor function of intestine in hernia sac is considered to be slightly disturbed, from 4 to 6 h - moderately disturbed, in case of more than 6 h, disturbance of motor function of intestine in hernia sac is considered expressed.

EFFECT: method ensures objective estimation of motor function of intestine in hernia sac and intestine on the whole, making it possible to select adequate treatment tactics and optimal terms of surgery in case of postoperative ventral hernia.
