FIELD: transport.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to automotive industry, particularly, to head light design. Proposed head light uses one LED as light source to form illumination zone and photoreceiver connected therewith. Said photoreceiver control LED brightness. LED and photoreceiver operate in pulse mode in antiphase. In compliance with first version, photoreceiver radiation pattern is partially or completely aligned with that of LED to allow photoreceiver to ambient light sources between LED flashes. In compliance with second version, photoreceivers are arranged to allow responding to LED crystal illumination by ambient light sources located in LED illumination zone between its flashes. Method of road illumination consists in using head light with above described properties as light source.
EFFECT: ruling out dazzle.
