FIELD: mechanical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to cybernetics and is intended for automation of color devices operation control in motor vehicles. The method for motor vehicle lighting devices control consists in receiving in motor vehicle the signals generated by device for generating lighting devices control signals which generating device is located out of any of motor vehicles, processing these signals in signal processing unit installed in motor vehicle, and generating electric signals at the output of processing unit which signals are entering motor vehicle lighting devices. Lighting conditions around motor vehicle is analysed using photocell. Signal processing unit is performed with possibility to process electric signals coming from photocell and to switch on motor vehicle lighting devices automatically when outdoor lighting level is lower than threshold. The mode of lighting devices switching on when outdoor lighting level is lower than threshold has higher priority relative to lighting devices operation mode generated using received motor vehicle lighting devices mode control signals. The said priority is determined by signal analysis circuit operation and controlled switching unit which switches on the lighting devices when there is signal at photocell output corresponding to low level of motor vehicle outdoor lighting.
EFFECT: road users safety improvement and simplification of motor vehicle driving.
