FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to the technology of producing emulsion explosive compounds used in mine blasting works. The method of producing an emulsion explosive compound involves preparing a matrix emulsion from aqueous ammonium nitrate solution in the medium of a mixture of hydrocarbon fuel and a surfactant and mixing the matrix emulsion with a granular phase and a sensitising agent from aqueous sodium nitrite solution, where the matrix emulsion and granular phase are mixed in ratio 90-60/10-40, and the granular phase is a granular alloy of ammonium-sodium or ammonium-potassium nitrate in ration ranging from 95/5 to 80/20.
EFFECT: disclosed method improves the quality of the matrix emulsion and simplifies the process.
