FIELD: power industry.
SUBSTANCE: for armouring of ballistite solid propellant charge with edge two-layered shields inner and outer armouring layers are manufactured and joined with each other and explosive cartridge. Armouring layers joining edge surface of explosive cartridge are made of armouring material based on thermoplastic elastomer with thickness of 1.0…1.5 mm plasticised by indene coumarone resins while outer layers are made of electric-grade cardboard. Inner and outer armouring layers of edge shields are cut of material, glued together by gluing compound and assembled into a pack. Blanks of two-layered armouring shields are underplayed by polyethylene packing, placed into tension strips and cured under pressure of 4…6 kgf/cm2 for 1 hour at least; then they are dried 24 hours minimum at temperature of 15…35°C. Assembled packs of two-layered armouring blanks are lathed to outside diameter of solid fuel explosive cartridge. Obtained edge armouring shields are fixed from thermoplastic side to edge surface of explosive cartridge by gluing compound with compression to cartridge edge in strips at pressure of 4…6 kgf/cm2 and temperature of 15…35°C during 4 hours at least; further they are dried for at least 18 hours at temperature of 15…35°C.
EFFECT: invention allows improvement of efficiency and capability of solid propellant charges.
