FIELD: chemical industry; methods of manufacture of the granulated armored compositions based on the thermoplastic elastomer used for the solid rocket propellant charges.
SUBSTANCE: the invention is pertaining to manufacture of the multi-component granulated armored composition on the basis of the thermoplastic elastomers predominantly used at armoring of the solid rocket propellant charges. The method of manufacture of the granulated armored composition for the charges of the solid rocket propellant on the basis of the thermoplastic elastomer, the indene-coumarone resin, the aluminum hydroxide, the asbestos and the stearic acid provides for preliminary mixture of the components and the subsequent plasticization, homogenization and extrusion of the armored mass in the pressing screw. Before mixture of the components the thermoplastic elastomer is ground up to the fractions of the overall dimension of no more than 10 mm, the indene-coumarone resin and the asbestos - up to the particles of the dimension of no more than 800 microns, use the aluminum hydroxide in powder form with the degree of dispersion of no more than 800 microns and the stearic acid in powder form or as the particles of the dimension of the order of 3x3x0.5 mm. Conduct the dry mixing of the components at the temperature of 15-35°С during no less than 40 minutes. The produced mixture is subjected to the reprocessing in the pressing screw. At that they ensure the reprocessing temperature at the inlet loading part of the pressing screw of 100-110°С, and at the head of the pressing screw - 130-140°С. Extruding of the granules is conducted twice. The technical result of the invention consists in the improved plasticization of the armored mass, the temperature-time modes of the reprocessing, the quality of the granules and in the increased productivity of the granularity process.
EFFECT: the invention ensures the improved plasticization of the armored mass, the temperature-time modes of the reprocessing, the quality of the granules, the increased productivity of the granularity process.
