FIELD: information technology.

SUBSTANCE: method for faults supervision in signal receive circuit in wireless communication includes steps in which data are provided (210) which represent measured values of received power in received signal circuit in several time points. Additionally, the method contains determination (220) of minimum noise level in several time points based on data representing measured received power values. Time evolution of determined minimum noise level values (230) is recorded and any fault occurrence in received signal circuit is detected (240) based on recorded time evolution. Also, device for supervision over faults in signal receive circuit is presented.

EFFECT: creation of improved method and device for detecting faults in signal receive circuit which does not affect traffic quality and capacity during data transmission.
