SUBSTANCE: invention discloses method and device to receive transmissions of High Speed Downlink Shared Channel (HS-DSCH). HS-DSCH Medium Access Control (MAC-ehs) entity receives MAC-ehs Protocol Data Units (PDUs) via HS-DSCH in one of statuses Cell_FACH, Cell_PCH or URAPCH. Rearranged PDUs comprising PDU MAC-ehs can be transferred to the next processing entity without rearrangement of these PDUs. Certain rearrangement queue may enter standby mode when triggering event occurs, and PDU MAC-ehs distributed in arrangement queue in wait status may be redirected to the next processing entity without being rearranged. MAC-ehs reset procedure can be extended for certain transmission so that MAC-ehs reset could be executed after MAC-ehs PDU receive in destination cell.
EFFECT: lower delay in cell updating procedure.
