SUBSTANCE: method to complete transfer of an enhanced dedicated channel (E-DCH) in condition of a forward access channel of a cell (CELL_FACH) by a wireless transfer/reception unit (WTRU), includes the following stages, where: it is identified, using a WTRU, that a buffer is empty; provided that the buffer is empty, scheduling information (SI) transfer is launched by means of WTRU in the E-DCH transfer, with a zero total condition of the buffer of the enhanced dedicated channel (E-DCH) (TEBS); the condition is identified, by means of WTRU, for completion of the last transfer of data of hybrid automatic repeated query (HARQ); and provided that the buffer is empty and the last transfer of HARQ is completed, assignment of E-DCH resources is released by means of WTRU.
EFFECT: higher efficiency of using resources.
