FIELD: process engineering.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to catalysts of cracking, method of their production and application in catalytic cracking of hydrocarbon stock. Proposed catalyst comprises zeolite with catalytic activity and surface negative charge at pH approximating to 7, silicon-containing metal oxide with negative surface charge at the same pH, and precipitated aluminium oxide. Note here that catalyst composition has specific surface exceeding 60 m2/g. Proposed method comprises producing water suspension containing zeolite and silicon-containing metal oxide with above mentioned characteristics, and aluminium hydroxychloride, not obligatorily, mincing of suspension, calcination, another slurrying of calcinated catalyst particles in water-alkaline solution at pH about 7 to precipitate aluminium oxide catalyst particles, and extracting catalyst particles. Invention covers also cracking of hydrocarbon stock using said catalyst.

EFFECT: increased specific surface of matrix, improved conversion of oil residues.
