SUBSTANCE: device includes housing, liquid working chamber for working fluid, piston barrel installed in the housing in movable manner, working gas chamber for gas under pressure and movement of piston barrel with displacement of working fluid from liquid working chamber, as well as additional working chamber for gas under low pressure. At that, piston barrel includes cavity for gas under pressure, which is hydraulically interconnected with gas working chamber. At that, gas chamber is separated from low pressure chamber with a piston. Method involves storage stages of working fluid in the device and movement of piston barrel for supply of working fluid from liquid working chamber to underwater equipment to control the operation of blowout preventer.

EFFECT: providing pressure compensation system in pressure accumulators at sea bottoms.
