FIELD: engines and pumps.
SUBSTANCE: proposed rotary ICE comprises stator, rotor, vanes extending radially, steam chamber and system for protection of rotary engine against excess heat. Stator has inner surface limiting cavity to distorted oval shape including intake zone, compression zone, expansion zone and exhaust zone. Rotor may revolve in said cavity and has outer surface, combustion cavity and grooves made along its periphery. Vanes may displace radially and are arranged in said grooves. Vanes extend toward stator inner surface to interact therewith to make rotary chambers for air-fuel mix to be compressed for combustion in rotor combustion cavities. Steam chamber extends above the part of said oval-shaped chamber to comprises working fluid absorbing heat from air-fuel mix combustion and returning said heat into said combustion cavities revolving through said expansion zone. Cooling system is made up of said stator, vanes and heat transfer system arranged in said rotor.
EFFECT: higher engine efficiency.
