FIELD: engine engineering. SUBSTANCE: engine has stator made up as a hollow cylinder, crank mechanism, and gear unit. The rotor with 2(N + 1) vanes is mounted inside the stator. Here N = 1,2,3.... The vanes are uniformly arranged about the rotor. The stator is provided with 2(N + 1) baffles-vanes that separate the space between the inner surface of the stator and rotor into the same insulated spaces. Ports for gas distribution are uniformly arranged over periphery of the stator. The centers of the ports are in the same radial plane. The number of ports is twice the number of the baffles- blades. The angle distances from the axis of each port to the nearest baffle-vane are the same. Each port serves for both charging and discharging. The rotor shank that is positioned inside the casing of the crank mechanism is provided with a rocker coupled with two crank shafts through connecting rods. One ends of the shafts are provided with intermediate gears that kinematically engage the slide valve toothing. The slide valve is made up as a hollow cylinder, inner hollow cylinder with the toothing mounted coaxially with a spaced relation inside the outer hollow cylinder and without spaced relation on the outer surface of the stator, and pressure-tight baffle, which separates the inner space between the cylinders into two spaces for charging and discharging. The baffle consists of 2(N + 1) ring cylinders and plates arranged over the generatrix surfaces of the cylinders and interconnecting the ends of the ring sectors alternately. Through rectangular openings are made in the inner hollow cylinder on both sides of each second plate. The centers of the openings lie in the same radial plane. The openings in front of the plates in the direction of rotation of the slide valve are in communication with the outlet manifold.
