FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: method involves mixing a crushed sample and detecting sample particles with size larger than 0.071 mm. Before particle detection, the sample is spread into a level layer on a smooth surface and reference points are marked on the sample, which are meant for detecting particles. Cutaneous receptors of the operator are used to detect particles. The sample is ground by fingers at the reference points and the number of particles felt is recorded. After detection, the weight ratio of the particles is determined.
EFFECT: rapid detection, easier method and low power consumption of the method, as well as improved working conditions.
