FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: method of gold ore sample reduction to average laboratory sample relates to analytical chemistry. An initial ore sample is fractioned according to grain fineness in the field conditions. Fraction mass is measured, thereafter material of each fraction is mixed and representative grab sample mass of which is calculated according to formula (1) is selected from it (vide description). Thereafter, grab samples are transported in production laboratory where the grab samples with grain fineness +2 mm are grained to -2 mm. A partial sample, mass of which is calculated according to formula (2) (vide description) is selected from each grab sample. Thereafter, material of the partial samples is combined and blended in average laboratory sample.
EFFECT: reduction of work cost with decreasing initial sample of gold ore to average laboratory sample.
