SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the agricultural machinery and can be used to harvest crops. The adapter includes a frame structure attached to the harvester, and at least two devices with nozzles, attached to the frame construction and guiding crops. Neighbouring devices guiding crops are made so that a channel with an open lead end is formed between them. The device guiding stems is in kinematic connection with the harvesting mechanism on at least one side of the channel. The adapter has a collecting auger, located as directed back from the cleaning mechanism, and at least one device of stalk cutter attached to the frame structure. The speed of the device guiding stems is continuously regulated in accordance with control commands given by the harvester and/or the speed measuring device located on the adapter, and/or an operator. The stems cutting devices are attached to the frame structure so that their position is adjustable in a perpendicular direction to the direction of movement of the combine.

EFFECT: adapter provides harvesting in energy-saving and time-saving manner with minimum loss of grain.
