FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the technique for producing potassium chloride from sylvinite material. The method involves crushing sylvinite material in the presence of recycled sylvinite solution and fractional separation through hydro-classification. Further, the hydro-classification sand undergoes floatation. The discharge, which contains fine classes of the material with high content of insoluble material, is thickened. The clarified recycled sylvinite solution is taken for use in crushing the material. The thick suspension is subjected to hot leaching. The clay-salt sludge is washed and separated from the liquid phase. The hot clarified solution is cooled to temperature for fractional separation of the material. Further, the end product is extracted from the obtained suspension, wherein the liquid phase is returned for hot leaching and taken for use in crushing material. A portion of the hot clarified solution is merged with the liquid phase returned for heating and hot leaching. A portion of the hot clarified solution is used as heat carrier for heating the liquid phase of the suspension coming in for hot leaching potassium chloride.
EFFECT: high extraction of potassium chloride from sylvinite material, reducing content of fine classes in the end product and high content of KCl therein.
