FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to production of ceramic bricks based on electrometallurgy wastes. The ceramic mixture for making bricks contains low-melting loam soil from the Markinsky deposits and basic steel-smelting slag from the Rostov Electrometallurgical Plant, which has the following chemical composition, wt %: SiO2 - 40.48; Fe2O3 - 4.43; Al2O3 - 1.0; TiO2 - 0.94; CaO - 44.8; MgO - 3.8; Na2O - 0.61; L.O.I - 3.7, with the following ratio of components in wt %: loam soil 75-85; steel-smelting slag 15-25.
EFFECT: high compression and flexural strength and frost resistance, low cost and air shrinkage of articles.
