FIELD: chemistry.

SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to triethylamine-functionalised elastomers. Described is a vulcanised rubber composition used to make elastomeric articles, which contains an elastomer which contains links formed by C4-C7-isoolefin, links formed by para-alkylstyrene, links formed by para-(halogenalkylstyrene) and links formed by para-(triethylammonium alkylstyrene), having a triethylammoniumalkyl group suspended from an elastomer E, in accordance with the following formula: where R and R1 are identical or different and denote one of the groups from hydrogen atom, C1-C7-alkyls and primary and secondary C1-C7-alkylhalides, where the elastomer has molar ratio of triethylamine functionality to the benzyl halogen atom from 1:100 to 1:1; filler and a hardening set. Described also is said elastomer, which can be used to make elastomeric articles. The invention also describes articles made from said composition, as well as a method of making said articles. A tyre inner insert is also described.

EFFECT: improved protective properties of the elastomer and improved processability.
