SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely to cardiology. By means of Holter monitoring system day registration of electric cardiogram in conditions of patient's usual life activity is performed. Corresponding to patient's age threshold value of heart rate in hours of physical activity and night sleep is calculated. Chronotropic heart stress is estimated by level and duration of excess of heart beat rate in different intervals. Obtained index of chronotropic stress is expressed in percent. Value of day chronotropic stress from 37% to 54% testifies to normal chronotropic heart stress in healthy people or about adequate drug control of heart beat in patients with cardiovascular pathology.

EFFECT: method makes it possible to increase examination accuracy due to 24-hour monitoring of chronotropic stress.
