FIELD: transport.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to rail transport facilities. Proposed method consists in updating running gear of rolling stock by adding extra links and device for decreasing mounted axle outer wheel flange angle of attack in running on track curved sections and decreasing friction in wheel-rail interaction system. Frame-like crosswise rigid link is arranged between bogie side frame top section to bolt or weld bogie side frames together. Device to this end consists of two mounted axles, brake level transmission and side frames. Additionally, frame is arranged between side frames made up of one-piece or box-like, welded or cast structure with its longer parts representing inversed rocker.
EFFECT: higher crosswise rigidity, reduced angles of attack, increased crosswise flexibility.
