FIELD: power engineering.
SUBSTANCE: vacuum degasser (1) comprises a vacuum reservoir (2) with a cap (3), connected to a vacuum pump and with two submersible sleeves (4), submerged into a melt (6) of an appropriate bucket (5). A blow tuyere placed into a vacuum reservoir (2) as capable of displacement (7), performing a combined function of a device for blowdown with oxygen and a burner. A pilot burner (11) is connected to the blowdown tuyere.
EFFECT: using the invention makes it possible to increase the coefficient of utilisation of blowdown tuyeres and plants in general.
