FIELD: ferrous metallurgy; tuyere for treatment of steel subjected to vacuum in circulating evacuation units. SUBSTANCE: tuyere has inner guide tube 11 for delivery of gases, oxygen first of all having outlet hole on head end for top blowing. When tuyere performs function of burner it is provided with channels 18 which are used for delivery of fuel gas to burner nozzles located in area of outlet hole. For protection of burner nozzles against splashes of metal, inner guide tube 11 with first cooling jacket 14 is made in form of first functional unit 10. Channels 18 for delivery of fuel gas provided with second cooling jacket 20 are made in form of second functional unit 17 of tuyere. First functional unit 10 is mounted inside second functional unit 17 for motion in it between slightly raised position for operation in mode of burner and in lowered position for operation in blow-off mode; nozzles 19 are closed with first functional unit 10 projecting downward beyond end of second functional unit 17. Burner nozzles are reliably protected against choking with splashes of metal without blowing them off.
