FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: slider-crank mechanism with a complex piston rod comprises a crank, a three-pair link and a sliding member. The three-pair link is connected with a sliding member via upper and lower three-pair piston rods interconnected by a two-pair traverse piston rod forming a four-link closed loop. There is an additional two-pair piston rod installed between the upper three-pair piston rod and a sliding member forming a pentagonal variable closed loop.
EFFECT: increased intensity of the load transmitted by the mechanism.
