FIELD: mechanical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to mechanical engineering and namely to the mechanisms of pressing used in pressure treatment of metals. The leverage mechanism of the press has a crank, a slider and two three-pair links. Each of the three-pair links is connected to a closing rod. The closing rod, which is connected to one of the three-pair links, is connected to the output supporting crank. The latter is made in the form of a three-pair link and is pivotally connected to the slider and to the other three-pair link. The output supporting crank, the slider, the aforementioned three-pair link and the closing rod connected with it form a quadrangular closed variable contour.
EFFECT: invention increases rigidity of the connection between the input and output links of the press mechanism.
