FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: joint of a pipeline from stainless steel with a vessel from titanium alloy with thickness of 0.2-0.8 mm comprises an adapter arranged in the form of a bushing on the basis of niobium alloyed with at least one of the metals selected from the following group: tantalum, molybdenum, vanadium, titanium, at the following ratio of the components (wt %): alloying metal -1-6, niobium - balance. The lower part of the bushing is made according to the shape of the vessel spherical shell, is placed on the shell and is welded with it by the method of contact seam welding. The upper part of the bushing is installed coaxially inside the pipeline and is connected with it by means of high-temperature vacuum soldering. Contact seam welding is carried out by a roller, with an angle of roller inclination relative to the pipeline axis.
EFFECT: tightness and high strength of a joint.
