FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: toothed clamp unit is designed for pressurised pipe connections. The unit comprises two main housings installed in the first angular sector smaller than 180°, four gear segments installed at the second angular sector smaller than the former and equipped with teeth. The support means are made capable of limiting the slope and bending deformation of a toothed segment. Also, the support means are fixed on the base housing and installed in the third angular sector around the central axis (X-X), which is not less than 30% of the second angular sector.
EFFECT: invention improves connection reliability.
