FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: hydraulic clamp consists of case with clamp unit and of packing of elastic material with two lugs of trapezoidal cross section. Channels of the lugs are made as slots. Extended grooves are hydraulically communicated with the slots. The packing has two deflected packing flexible edges in form of strips-fins with their free end superposed on a corresponding lug to form cavities on a pipe in a compressed state.
EFFECT: raised reliability of connection and reduced probability of packing warp at clamp fit.
