FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: in the method of measuring spatial-frequency distribution of direction finding systematic error, involving irradiating a radio-direction finding system from different directions with test signals at different frequencies which are given with equal spacing, determining bearings in the given directions and calculating direction finding systematic errors, the radio-direction finding system is irradiated simultaneously with A-test signals of the type Sα(ωi,(t-Tj)) from corresponding directions α=1, 2…A, with duration Tj, frequency ωi, which, with the next measurement cycle j=1, 2…J, discretely change their value uniquely on all directions until complete realisation of the set of frequencies allocated for measurement ωi∈{ω1; ω2…ωJ}, over a period of time TΣ=J·Tj, bearings in the given directions are determined and the direction finding systematic error is calculated, where t is the current time.
EFFECT: faster measurement of spatial-frequency distribution of direction finding systematic error while preserving accuracy characteristics of measurement.
