FIELD: radio direction finding equipment.
SUBSTANCE: the method is based on measurement of the depth of modulation of the received signal, arising due to the rotation of the antenna, system directivity pattern, and comparison of it with the values of the standard depth of modulation. The conclusion on the truth of measurement of the current value of the bearing is made proceeding from the relation of these values.
EFFECT: enhanced accuracy of direction finding of the radio-frequency radiation sources by a sample of bearings by way of exclusion of uncertain readings from it caused by multipath propagation of the radio signal.
