FIELD: radio engineering and communications.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to radio engineering and can be used to determine the bearing and frequency of a radio emission source in radio monitoring systems. This result is achieved by performing a comparison operation of the calibration results of the reception paths at the moment of measurement of the bearing of the analyzed signal with the calibration results obtained at the preparatory stage in determining the deviation of the meter, that allows to adjust the calibration results taking into account the impact of destabilizing factors, in this case, the calculation of the spatial distribution coefficients of the amplitude and phase of the signal, taking into account their mutual distribution, ensures the use of statistical characteristics to improve the accuracy of bearing measurement.
EFFECT: technical result is an increase in the accuracy of direction finding under the influence of external destabilizing factors.
