FIELD: agriculture.
SUBSTANCE: method of increasing the soil fertility on slopes lies in the fact that initially from the slope surface the upper layer of fertile arable soil is removed, then trenches are dug not deeper than one metre, for cells which are made of ceramic and/or polyethylene, with subsequent installation of these cells into the said trenches. Then the pipelines are mounted to supply water and air to the cells. Then the installed cells are filled with fertile soil which is inhabited with earthworms. The cells filled in this way are covered with initially removed top layer of fertile arable soil of thickness 15-35 cm. Along with fertile soil, organic fertiliser, such as humus, is brought into the cells. The cells have the shape of a rectangular prism with height of not more than one metre. On clay soils cells without bottom are made, and on sandy soils cells with bottom are made, and which bottom is made with holes.
EFFECT: increased efficiency and productivity of growing crops on slopes.
