FIELD: agriculture.

SUBSTANCE: method involves the use of crop rotation and restoring the topsoil structure by increasing the humus content therein. Biologized crop rotations are used. Increasing the humus content in the soil is achieved by optimizing the conditions of plant feeding and protection, with the predominant use of agro-technical and biological measures activating microbiological processes due to the introduction in the soil only organic substances in the form of manure and the residues of the non-grain crop part, with the manure introduction norm of 7.5 tonnes and the non-grain part norm - 1.5-3.0 tonnes per 1 hectare of crop rotation area. The fertility dynamics monitoring of soil is performed continuously by analyzing the humus content therein.

EFFECT: method allows to increase soil fertility and increase crop yields in arid regions of the Crimea.
