SUBSTANCE: invention relates to agriculture and can be used in batch seed-wiping devices. The portional device for wiping grass seeds comprises a timer, a housing with a removable glass and a rotor vertically rotating inside it. The removable glass is adjacent to the housing and forms with it a closed grater container. The rotor is equipped with one or more blades mounted in the glass with respect to the lateral grater surface without a gap, and relative to the bottom - with a gap of 2…3 equivalent diameters of the seed of the treated culture. The grater surfaces of the glass are made grooved. The blades are made of elastic material. The width of the blade is equal to the working height of the lateral grater surface, and the length can exceed the size of the inner diameter of the glass.

EFFECT: grater device provides effective drying of seeds without their injury.
