FIELD: power engineering.
SUBSTANCE: vertical prismatic furnace comprises burners and nozzles of rectangular cross section to supply an air and fuel mixture and air, besides, nozzles of air supply are installed at opposite walls at one level with an equal pitch and with displacement by a half-step relative to nozzles of the opposite wall. The furnace is additionally equipped with channels of air supply, one of which is located along a longitudinal axis of the furnace, is closed with furnace bars on top, and axes of their openings are directed towards the rear side of the furnace at the angle of 30-40° to the horizontal line, and other channels are arranged along side and rear walls of the furnace and are protected against it with furnace bars installed at the angle of 45°, axes of openings in furnace bars are parallel to the furnace bottom, burners with water-cooled splitters are installed on the frontal wall of the furnace, and nozzles of air supply at the frontal and rear walls are inclined at the angle of 10-18° to the lower part of the furnace arranged in the form of the horizontal bottom.
EFFECT: efficient burning of highly moist wastes of lumbering without oil flashing with low values of nitrogen oxide and carbon oxide emission.
