FIELD: power engineering.
SUBSTANCE: method is realised in prismatic furnace with vertical walls, ceiling, sole with slot nozzle of secondary air and sole slot burner, adjacent to horizontal slot embrasure, extended along frontal wall, and window for discharge of combustion products arranged under the ceiling at back wall, besides longitudinal axial plane of embrasure and embrasure itself are arranged with inclination to longitudinal axial plane of slot nozzle by angle α=5° - 40°, providing for secondary air supply along walls and mixture of natural gas and primary air with delay between combustion and start of afterburning in the range τ=0.1 - 1.5 sec. In version of realisation with two slot nozzles of secondary air and two sole slot nozzles, there is a window for direct-flow vertical discharge of combustion products. In version of realisation slot nozzles of secondary air and sole slot nozzles are arranged as adjacent to horizontal slot embrasures and are extended along each vertical wall of combustion chamber, with window of direct-flow discharge of combustion products.
EFFECT: reduction of repair costs and increased service life of gas burners and air nozzles with provision of minimum concentrations of nitrogen oxides in combustion products.
