FIELD: physics.

SUBSTANCE: system for controlling movement of a pipe diagnosis device consists of a transmitter, having a low-frequency electromagnetic signal emitter, and an intra-pipe part which is a self-propelled carriage carrying an x-ray tube and a receiver for receiving signals from the transmitter, processing said signals and controlling an actuating device having the engine of the carriage. The receiver has receiving channels which convert the electromagnetic signal generated by the transmitter into electric signals for controlling the actuating device, wherein the receiving channels are connected to signal conditioners whose outputs are the first and second outputs of the receiver connected to the first and second inputs of the actuating device, respectively. The receiver further includes a third signal conditioner whose first and second inputs are connected to outputs of the first and second receiving channels, respectively, and the output, which is the third output of the receiver, is connected to the third input of the actuating device.

EFFECT: improved operational characteristics of the system for controlling movement of a pipe diagnosis device by increasing positioning accuracy of the device.
