SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medical equipment and aims at measuring a visual resolution shown by flicker frequency. A unit comprises a toggle switch, two keys, a mode switch, two falling pulse shapers, a ramp voltage generator, an OR element, a second pulse generator, an analogue memory unit, two voltage-to-frequency converters, two gates, a single vibrator, a calculator, a counter, two light pulse source unit and two display units.

EFFECT: measurement unit provides higher accuracy of measuring the pass band of the visual resolution as shown by flicker frequency that is ensured by simultaneous presentation of initial and decreased flicker frequency as compared thereto that enables avoiding long-time logical-semantic memory.
