FIELD: salvage appliances.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to technical facilities for rescuing public in emergency situations. The method to evacuate public from high-rise buildings consists in the fact that a vehicle with a hoist and a cabin installed on its platform is sent to an emergency building. Simultaneously, using a radio telephone, a helicopter equipped with a cable winch is called to the building. By a signal in the form of a laser beam directed vertically upwards from a source of laser radiation on the cabin, a rope is lowered with an accessory for cabin fixation. The winch installed on the helicopter has a pulley fixed at the rope end, which after its lowering is embraced with a rope of the hoist installed on the vehicle platform with a hook fixed at the end of this rope. The hook is connected to an eye fixed on the cabin, and the cabin is lifted at height corresponding to an elevation of a window opening in the building, through which public is evacuated. Then the cabin is fixed relatively to the window opening and connected to it via a bridge, through which public is transferred into the cabin. At the same time, during all cycles of cabin lifting and lowering, the winch on the helicopter is in a braked condition to the moment of salvage operation completion, afterwards the winch on the helicopter is switched on with lowering of the pulley down, which is released from the rope of the winch installed on the vehicle platform, afterwards the winch on the helicopter is switched on, and the rope with the pulley is lifted on it. A complex for method realisation.
EFFECT: invention features ensure higher reliability of operation.
