FIELD: fire-prevention facilities.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of fire-fighting equipment and is designed for use in automatic systems of fire-fighting by generation of a high-expansion polydisperse foam under conditions of room smoke screening by blockage of quick-burning products with a high-expansion polydisperse foam. In a foam generator there is a vortex sprayer, which is connected to a foam nozzle vessel arranged in the form of a cylindrical shell. The shell is installed coaxially and axially relative to the sprayer. On the foam nozzle vessel in part located closer to the sprayer there are three windows arranged for air ejection. At the outlet there is a meshed splitter of a double-phase flow arranged in the form of a round meshed disc. A meshed cone is attached to a disc with a top lying on the body axis and facing towards the sprayer. To the foam nozzle vessel, near its cut, there is a diffuser's conical surface attached with its larger base, and on this surface there are at least three windows for air ejection. The smaller base of the truncated conical surface of the diffuser is fixed at the output of the splitter. The diameter of this base is equal to the diameter of the output hole of the sprayer, which comprises a bushing axial to the foam nozzle vessel. At one side of which there is a partition arranged perpendicularly to its axis connected to an inlet nozzle with a hole to supply a foaming and a fire-quenching solution into a vortex chamber. The chamber is fixed coaxially on the inner surface of the sprayer's bushing and is made in the form of a cylindrical cavity connected by at least three tangential holes to the sprayer's cavity connected to a nozzle hole. The cylindrical cavity is formed by a ring and two partitions. In the ring there are at least three tangential holes. The ring is arranged as axially to the foam nozzle vessel. One of partitions facing the nozzle is arranged as dead. The other partition facing the diffuser is made with an outlet hole arranged axially to the ring.
EFFECT: higher efficiency of spraying a fire-quenching liquid solution of a foaming agent (a high-expansion polydisperse foam).
