FIELD: transport.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to railway transport, particularly, to generation of electric power from rail vibration. Device comprises branched magnetic circuit consisting of three sections. Two first sections represent parts of rail 2 vibrating vertically during train motion. Third section of magnetic circuit is stationary and made up of H-like magnetic core 4 with crosspiece 5, top and bottom branches 6 and 7. Said crosspiece 5 is arranged along rail. Top sections are arranged with clearance relative to rail head bottom surface. Magnetic core bottom branches 7 are arranged with clearance relative to rail foot 3. Crosspiece and branches of magnetic core are furnished with windings 14, 15. Windings 15 are connected to electric power receiver via rectifier and semiconductor diode. Crosspiece winding is connected to rectifier output. There are versions wherein magnetic core crosspiece winding is connected parallel with rectifier, or made from large cross-section wire and connected in series with rectifier and semiconductor diode anode.
EFFECT: higher efficiency and reliability.
