FIELD: transport.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to electric power generation from rails vibration caused by running trains. To generate electric power, closed magnetic circuit made up of two sections of formed. First section represents the rail oscillating vertically when rolling stock wheels runs thereon, while another section is s stationary element. There are clearances between first and second parts of magnetic circuit that vary at pressure on rails. Variation of magnetic field in said closed magnetic circuit is used to generate electromagnetic induction. Rail head bottom makes first part of magnetic circuit while "П"-like magnetic conductor makes the second part thereof. First and second parts are separated by two clearances located between rail head and branches of "П"-like conductor. Said magnetic conductor incorporates permanent magnet insert and electrical winding. Branches of said magnetic conductor are bent toward rail at definite angle so that surfaces of clearances between said braches and rail head are mutually parallel.

EFFECT: higher voltage and efficiency.
